How Wireless Home Internet Works
There is a wireless internet box that you place by a window or anywhere in the house where it receives a strong wireless signal. The signal comes from a nearby 5G Wireless site (Some units switch to 4G LTE in areas where 5G is weak or unavailable). The indoor router then distributes the internet to devices throughout your home through Wi-Fi. You can also connect a desktop computer to the router with a regular Ethernet (RJ-45) cable.
